All that wiretap stuff I’ve been basically giving the Bush Administration a free pass on because they haven’t been abusing it becomes intensely scary with Hillary at the helm given her track record. It would be like Nixon all over again.
Hillary is the only candidate provably sane. That is, you’d have to be insane to run for president in today’s media environment. Except Hillary has been through the worst of it with the whole Monica thing. So running for President will seem like a walk in the park. So its not insane for her to run. McCain, Guiliani, Obama, etc. They all must be total lunatics to want to run….

Going back to #1, I have two points. First, we don’t fricking know if there have been abuses of wiretapping as there has been no effective oversight, and given how broadly Bush construes his power, and his demonstrated level of incompetence I will be shocked if there are not significant abuses of power revealed.
Secondly, and more importantly, having principles and holding to them can be pretty damn important…. Remember, we have a constitution to prevent us from being a country ruled at the whims of men, instead we have laws to minimize the probabilities of massive abuses of power instead of relying on the personal qualities of an individual.

What I’m saying is that if you’re talking to a conservative, the best way to make this point is NOT to whine about what Bush may or may not have done, but to tell the conservative:
Hey, do you really want Hillary to have that power? She already abused it last time…
That is, choose your battles.

Ok Ok… So you say Hillary abused this wiretapping power or “something” last time….Um proof or to what are you making reference.
Without it you just sound like your run of the mill whining Conservative that is on the hate Hillary bandwagon…but really can’t give a concrete reason why.
