Well, I got Frictionless 2.0 (My GTD app for the mac) done enough to be useable.
So I released it out into the world today.
You can read about it here
I’m pretty happy with the new UI design although I’m not finished. It still has some rough edges compared to some of the other GTD apps out there, but I think its more useable on the day to day basis then any of those other GTD apps out there.
NSTreeController still sucks eggs though.

So, just for my own edification… what the heck is a “GTD app” anyway?

Getting Things Done is the name of a book by David Allen.
The book basically consists of a whole bunch of tips that make you about 10% more productive in each area but that work together to make you dramatically more productive and less stressed out.
If I had to sum it up in once sentence, I would say that “Being organized is less effort then trying to remember all the stuff you have to do.”
But that wouldn’t really do the book justice.
