Pulling out troops?

So there's this press release from DOD announcing Iraq troop rotations: here. Only 92,000 though, and scheduled to begin mid 2006. Does that mean we're drawing down the troops? Any military types know the answer?

Remember my theory on when we start pulling out of Iraq is here.

No, I think you are reading too much into the press release cycle as the last announcement cycle was three press releases for fifteen or sixteen brigades. If my memory serves me right, the first release was for ten or eleven brigades, and then two brigades and three brigades plus follow-on chopped units afterwards. And then throw in the 82cd Airborne deploying 4 battalions forward for 3 months, delaying and switching around the deployment dates for the 1st Armored over the summer, and the initial press releases issued 6 to 9 months in advance were a horrendous indicator of actual force levels for this time period.
