Revenge is a dish best served cold?

What if the true culprits of 9/11 was Iran?

Would our foreign policy be any different? We weren’t in a position to attack Iran then, but now:

  • Iraq is a Democracy, and a US Ally
  • Afghanistan is a Democracy, and a US Ally
  • Turkey is a Democracy, and a US Ally
  • Armenia is a Democracy, and a US Ally
  • Turkmenistan is a Democracy, and if not a US Ally, pretty cordial
  • Azerbaijan is a Democracy, and cordial like Turkmenistant
  • Pakistan is NOT a Democracy, but is a US Ally

Look at the following image, and tell me who’s left?

Iran

Not to mention stuff like the following: Good News From the Muslim World

Sometimes I wonder if President Bush isn’t just playing a very long game. As Dennis Miller put it, “Iraq was a good starter war”.

It puts what President Bush said about Iran in his state of the union in a new light I think…

Today, Iran remains the world’s primary state sponsor of terror — pursuing nuclear weapons while depriving its people of the freedom they seek and deserve. We are working with European allies to make clear to the Iranian regime that it must give up its uranium enrichment program and any plutonium re-processing, and end its support for terror. And to the Iranian people, I say tonight: As you stand for your own liberty, America stands with you.

Was he really saying:

We know you were behind 9/11, and your whole government is going to fall. Not because we’re going to invade, but because your own people will see you for the liars you are.
